Kathy Weaver has been in touch to say they’ll be on holiday on Block Island in early August. We’ll be out on Long Island so we’ve tweaked our plans to catch the ferry over from Montauk and join them for lunch.

Georgie and I are now booked to visit the 9/11 memorial. It’s my first time back to Lower Manhattan since 9/11. Here’s a picture I took on a Circle Line cruise back in 1973 just after the World Trade Center was completed.

Our trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island is now booked. We were last there in in New Year 1972. You can see the Twin Towers were almost completed.
Gretchen has emailed to invite us to dinner at her apartment when we’re in NYC. We’re hoping Adriennne will come up from Maryland to join us.
